Abstract

County Durham Housing Group (CDHG) was created in April 2015, as a Community Benefit Society with charitable objects, from the completion of a large scale voluntary transfer of approximately 18 400 homes from Durham County Council. County Durham Housing Group was created in April 2015, as a Community Benefit Society with charitable status, following the large scale voluntary transfer of approximately 18 400 homes from Durham County Council.

The group is made up of four registered providers — County Durham Housing Group; Dale and Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes — and is governed by a single board.

The group's vision: We believe in life without barriers.

If everyone expects more, they can achieve more, and we can transform lives together. It is this power of ‘more’ that will let people realise what is possible — change perceptions, raise aspirations and create inclusive, vibrant communities.

The group's values:

People first

People are at the heart of everything we do. In our communities the way we listen and respond to people will determine the way we grow. It is only by connecting with and trusting people that living can be fully brought to life.

Outstanding delivery

Push the boundaries of customer service and added value through proactive behaviour. Because the smallest detail can make the biggest difference, outstanding must be the new standard and the new routine.

Proud communities

Taking responsibility and feeling confident only occurs when there is a sense of pride and optimism at home. Positive steps lead to more positive steps and as a result, there is an ability to create and seize better opportunities.

The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is for the provision of design Services to County Durham Housing Group and its subsidiaries. Individual contracts will be advertised via mini competition under the DPS by the group communications team.

Currently the Group Communications Team is responsible for the management of 5 corporate brands:

1. County Durham Housing Group,

2. Dale and Valley Homes,

3. Durham City Homes,

4. East Durham Homes,

5. Group Property Services.

While all part of a group structure, each organisation has its own visual identity which require a design function to maintain their on and offline presence and the group will continue to maintain 5 individual identities for the foreseeable future. Due to the demands of the marketing and communications sector, in terms of corporate branding, PR, design for traditional offline media, website platforms and the ever-changing face of social media, the group's design requests are becoming more varied and require a dynamic and flexible solution.

All contracts called off from this DPS will be exclusively subject to CDHGs terms and conditions which can be found attached to this notice at: https://www.in-tendhost.co.uk/countydurhamhousinggroup/aspx/Home

The DPS will remain open for a period of 10 years, during this time any interested supplier may submit a return by completing the ‘Compliance Questionnaire’ attached to this notice. All suppliers who meet these requirements will be admitted and will receive all mini-competitions issued under this DPS. Should a supplier be unsuccessful they may re-submit once the reasons for rejection have been rectified.

This notice will remain live for the duration of the DPS, all returns submitted within the first 30 days will be evaluated and the suppliers informed of their success or rejection within 10 days from 7.7.2017. Returns may be submitted at any time during the life of the DPS, any returns submitted after the first 30 days will be evaluated and the supplier informed of the result within 10 working days.
