The scope of the procurement includes the following:

— Broadcast Display System (Displays in Production areas, integrated into Production Systems),

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
This specification aims to provide sufficient information to allow a System Integrator (“SI” otherwise known as the “Contractor”) to produce a quotation and proposal for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of Audio Visual (“AV”) Systems within the new BBC Wales headquarters that will be located in Cardiff Central Square (the “Project”). It is anticipated that the System Integrator will procure solutions and services from specialist 3rd Parties throughout the project and these are referred to as “Suppliers” throughout the technical specifications.
The Purchaser (hereafter referred to as the “BBC” in this document) intends to fit out a broadcast centre with state of the art technical facilities that will allow BBC Wales to fulfil its’ mission to inform, educate and entertain. As a corporation with a Royal Charter the BBC is keen to procure technology solutions that will deliver best value for the licence fee payer.
The project will be structured into seven work packages as shown below:
