Scottish Enterprise is looking to continue the rural leadership programme, in partnership with Highlands and Islands Enterprise. The aim of the programme is to assist Scottish rural business leaders to create additional wealth through leading effectively, team working, networking, influencing and by being ambitious. Scottish Enterprise would like to continue the rural leadership programme, in partnership with Highlands and Islands Enterprise, across Scotland for 3 years, commencing in May 2018. The aim of the programme is to assist Scottish rural business leaders to create additional wealth through leading effectively, team working, networking, influencing and by being ambitious. It does this by developing the capacity of individuals, building their confidence to lead, widening their boundaries, building industry and parliamentary trust, providing an awareness of rural economic and broader issues and introducing individuals to the wider rural leadership network.
