Abstract

It is expected that the successful Supplier will work very closely with the Client and engage with the school curriculum moving forwards into this contract term.

The Client wishes for the successful Supplier to be able to offer innovation and to make some changes to the service provision within the school during the course of the new contract term. This will include ideas and ideas on how the catering service can be more accessible to all students.

There are currently a number of catering outlets within the school, details of which will be provided within the tender specification.

Any inward investment should be detailed within the tender submission and also what impact this will have on the catering facilities within the school.

Tewkesbury School is considering converting to a Multi Academy Trust (MAT); the MAT is expected to grow in the number of schools beyond just Tewkesbury School once formed and it is expected that more schools will become part of the MAT during this contract period. The provision of catering services within these schools when they have joined the MAT will fall under the scope of this contract. The successful Supplier will be expected to provide the catering services within these additional schools using the same costing model, ratios, etc that were applied to the successful bid for Tewkesbury School at the point of tender submission. The duration of contract for these schools will not be increased and they will join the contract for the remaining contract period that exists at the point of entry into the MAT.

Please note: As stated above, further schools may be added to the contract during the tender process and during the life of the contract.
