To provide a minimum of a two-man team that is fully Arboriculturally accredited with all relevant Arboricultural equipment including vehicle and chipper capable of processing / disposing of arisings, and to attend out of hours call-out as directed by the Highways call-out officer.
This service may include all aspects of Arboricultural work including providing Arboricultural advice to the call-out officer in relation to making safe dangerous trees.

The Council require a number of fully qualified stump grinding contractors to undertake the removal of stumps on the highway, in parks and open spaces. These will be in a number of different surfaces i.e. tarmac, flag and grass. All arising’s to be taken off site or used to level area until permanent repair can be put in place. The site should be cordoned off or left in a safe manner that cannot result in claims against the council.
