Hertsmere Borough Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced consultant(s) to undertake independent assessments of the viability of delivering affordable housing as part of planning applications for development, on behalf of the following Councils:
— Dacorum Borough Council,
— Hertsmere Borough Council (Lead Authority),
— North Hertfordshire District Council,
— St Albans District Council,
— Stevenage Borough Council,
— Three Rivers District Council,
— Watford Borough Council,
— Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.
The Council intends to award a preferred contractor and 2 reserve contractors. The preferred bidder would have first refusal of the work and be able to decline it where there would be a professional conflict of interest or a lack of capacity. The contract will last for 3 years, with an option to extend for a further year.
