East Renfrewshire Council is therefore looking to appoint a single experienced and suitably qualified Tier 1 contractor to construct five separate new family centres across the authority at the following site locations:
— Easglesham Primary School,
— Busby Primary School,
— Crookfur Pavilion,
— Overlee Pavilion,
— Glenwood Family Centre.
2 building types have been developed by the design team.
Type 1 is the 120 place family centre (to be located on 4 sites).
Type 2 the 180 place family centre (to be located on 1 site).
In addition the Council wants to augment 2 new family centres with a sports and community extension to enhance facilities further at the Crookfur site and at the Overlee site.
