Abstract

The Anglesey Column Trust (ACT) seeks tenders from a consultant/team of consultants in the provision of a range of services including Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer services for the Restoration and Renovation of the Marquess of Anglesey’s Column. An application was submitted to the National Lottery Heritage Fund and in November 2018 ACT was awarded a Round 1 grant (development stage). This award now allows us to appoint a professional project team to develop the necessary detailed designs, cost estimates, business, activity and interpretation plans required to submit a Round 2 application (delivery stage) and if that is successful to move onto construction.

2 Contract Details

2.1 Title

Project Manager/ QS and Principal Designer Services

2.2 Description of the goods or services required

An application was submitted to the National Lottery Heritage Fund and in November 2018 ACT was awarded a Round 1 grant (development stage). To provide all Project Management, QS and Principal Designer services deemed necessary to ensure the successful delivery of the project during both pre-construction and construction stages. Estimated construction costs at this stage are £800,000.
