Abstract

Places for people are seeking to appoint number of suppliers to deliver specialised contractors DPS services and as such, wish to form a DPS which will be utilised and owned by Places for People Procurement Hub. The principle of the specialist contractors DPS is to group services that places for people and other Contracting Authority clients require to ensure quality and value for money. The core DPS will be owned and managed by Places for People. Can be used by the members of the Procurement Hub as listed on the Contract Notice. This agreement will therefore provide an OJEU compliant platform which the places for people and other Contracting Authorities can procure a range of services via the further competition process.

The DPS will be not be divided into defined lots. Instead contractors are asked to complete a matrix and provide details of the services that they can undertake. Suppliers can apply for as many services as they wish. A brief description of each of the available work streams is provided below:

— access control + door entry systems:

installing new systems and diagnosing, locating and rectifying common faults as well additions to existing systems and associated works and services.

— automatic door:

installing and renewing existing automatic doors and door entry systems and associated works.

— CCTV Camera:

installing of new systems and additions to existing systems and associated works and services.

— drainage:

drain unblocking, drain cleaning, drain repairs, CCTV drain surveys and associated works and services.

— intruder alarm:

install and add new additions to current systems, planned maintenance works, replacing parts, fixing faults and associated works and services.

— pest control:

pest control services will overall ensure the safety, security and well-being of all users. The followings will be pest controlled populations of rodents, insects, birds, squirrels and associated works and services:

— scaffolding:

to provide and install scaffolding and associated works and services:

— TV Aerial

installing TV aerials and providing maintenance works on aerials.

The list of services that may be required under this agreement include routine servicing, maintenance, commissioning and repairs. The agreement may also be used for modernisation, replacement, refurbishment and installation programmes. Please note the list of services above is not exhaustive and places for people may wish to add furthers if required. The additional CPV Codes may be used for this agreement: 42961100, 44212310, 45232452 and 45312200.

Applicants will only be invited to compete in tender exercises for the work streams applied for and locations selected. It is the responsibility of the applicant to keep places for people informed of any changes to the works streams applied for and locations selected.
