3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

All works must be complete by March 2020.

Experience of installing similar trails is essential and tender returns will be judged on experience as well as value.

A JCT Contract must be agreed and signed complete by Tuesday 2nd July, so availability for that meeting is essential.

It is recommended that all contractors should visit the site, prior to submitting a tender return, to ensure they have a full understanding of the site access conditions and restrictions.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

We would like for there to be an opportunity to work with our youth volunteers, to engage with us over the final design and understanding of the construction of the track, the extent of which is fully negotiable
