Abstract

Coventry University are seeking to engage a suitable online learning platform partner to continue with the delivery of our Online Learning Initiative and to grow the learner numbers for existing and new courses. The objectives and requirements of this partner are detailed in section 6 of the ITT document, but include:

— create and develop a global market for distance online qualifications delivered by Coventry University,

— achieve financial sustainability across the planned period of the online learning initiative,

— deliver a sector leading student and learning experience across a broad range of online qualifications,

— implement a long-term delivery model which is scalable, efficient, effective and continuously improved,

— instigate new ways of working and/or innovation across different modes of delivery and a range of qualifications,

— implement a learning platform with no/minimum disruption or cost to existing qualifications delivered online.

Coventry University are seeking to engage a suitable online learning platform partner to continue with the delivery of our online learning initiative and to grow the learner numbers for existing and new courses. Detailed objectives and requirements can be found in the ITT document. Potential suppliers should note that the ‘Estimated total value’ of 10 000 000 GBP, shown in II.1.5) of this notice, relates to the total potential contract cost including extensions and potential delivery additions over the life of the contract. The initial contract expected to be agreed as a result of this procurement will not exceed 3 000 000 GBP for the initial contractual term of 3 years. Any additional contract value will be subject to internal approvals and is in no way guaranteed.
