II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The University has procured a Managed Network Service (MNS), to form a strategic partnership with a trusted integrator and have the ability to purchase associated software/hardware, cabling, fibre optic cabling and associated professional services that will provide support and management for the components. The contract also includes the ability to purchase any data centre specific items or services.
The service is easy to implement and has a minimal impact on staff resource from a daily management perspective.
The solution is cost effective and able to support the University’s requirements.
UOB is looking to award a contract for an initial period of 3 years, with an option to extend for an additional period of one plus, one plus, one years.
