York Women’s Wellness Centre will serve as a woman only city-wide facility, to offer a coordinated approach to support vulnerable women, including those that are involved with the criminal justice system, and those that may be at risk of entering the system. The aim is to provide tailored assistance to women to gain access to local provision, to deliver better outcomes for vulnerable women.

The Women’s Wellness Centre will offer a new, dedicated approach to vulnerable women residing in the City of York. The approach will ensure access to specific services to provide continuity of care to women that would normally experience significant barriers to support. The service at the Women’s Wellness Centre will provide a single point of contact which offers consistent, accurate and timely support, advice and signposting to other appropriate support services.
