A. Wentworth Primary School is a primary school (Reception to year 6) in Dartford, Kent with 588 pupils.

B. The school currently receives its cleaning provision from an outsourced provider.

C. The Contract period will be for 3 years initially with the option to extend for two further 1 year periods.

D. Estimated full contract value is expected to be in the region of GBP 285 000.

E. The services are to be provided at the following address: Wentworth Drive, Dartford, Kent, DA1 3NG.

F. Additional information

(a) Workforce — currently there is one non-working supervisor (15 hrs/week) and nine cleaning operatives (90 hrs/week). There is expected to be no LGPS applicable – this will be confirmed during the ITT stage.

(b) The school currently provides keys to the non-working supervisor to access the school.

(c) Cleaning consumables and bin liner costs are to be included in the contract.

(d) Recruitment has historically been difficult, therefore having a local recruitment strategy will be important.
