Wales Millennium Centre is planning a project that will identify and begin to realise new revenue opportunities. As we move towards a post COVID reopening, we want to ensure that we capture all revenue opportunities that are available to us through our commercial operation.

Total quantity or scope of tender

We would be interested to discuss submissions with consultants who can work with the WMC team to identify and execute plans that will realise incremental revenues. It envisaged that this will be a part-time role which will begin in July 2021 and run over 6-8 months, depending on the recommendations.

Please note that we reserve the right not to appoint if we feel the proposals are not suitable for our project.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

We will need to see evidence of previous results of the successful implementation of your commercial recommendations within your proposal. Priority will be given to proposals that show a strong track record in ecommerce. Our assessment will prioritise the quality of the work and the return on investment predicted (80%) above the cost of the work (20%). The process of shortlisting may include an interview but this will depend on the nature of the applications.

We would suggest that the proposals include a day rate for the consulting work involved. We will need to agree a scope of work and timeframes after appointment.

Please note that submissions will be assessed, and shortlisted bidders will be invited for interview.

WMC reserve the right not to appoint any of the bidders.

WMC will within the limits of commercial confidentiality always endeavour to offer unsuccessful tenderers feedback to find out why their bid has failed. Suppliers will also be given the opportunity to provide feedback to the Centre on the tender process.
