Since the 1970s Puffin Produce has been proud to offer Welsh customers the best Welsh potatoes, grown, picked and packed here in Pembrokeshire. Puffin Produce is now the largest supplier of Welsh produce in Wales, supplying a wide variety of potatoes and seasonal vegetables to multiple major retailers and wholesalers.

The invitation to tender is in respect of quotes for the supply of specialist development consultancy services, in the field of automation integration, in the potato processing sector. The successful bidder will need to have a proven track record of delivery of multiple, high profile, projects, in potato automation. It is essential that the successful bidder is capable of working with state of the art bespoke systems, whilst independent of any such provider of systems, so as to provide impartial advice and seek best value for Puffin Produce.

The successful bidder will have worked in the fresh potato packing sector for at least five years, with extensive experience of leading engineering projects and optimising equipment installations to drive efficiency. Experience with the industry leading solutions provided by Brighteye, CPS, Abar, Deprez and Viscon and the integration of these systems is essential.
