Abstract

We are a cultural charity, a National Lottery distributor, and the UK’s lead organisation for film and the moving image. We believe society needs stories. Film, television and the moving image bring them to life, helping us connect and understand each other better. We share the stories of yesterday, search for the stories of today, and shape the stories of tomorrow. The purpose of this process to is appoint a provider to work in partnership with the BFI to maintain, develop and ensure the efficiency of the BFI property portfolio and in particular its mechanical, electrical and fabric assets. The BFI understands the importance of our buildings and correctly maintaining the assets contained within to achieve our mission. We take a keen interest, and obtain significant funding, to develop and maintain our property portfolio and needs to ensure we are achieving best value in a timely manner. We understand how important it is to make sure our buildings are safe and engaging to our visitors and are maintained to ensure the safety and longevity of the National Collections we are entrusted to hold.We are looking for someone to work with the BFI Property team to achieve these goals across the five distinctly different BFI sites to deliver PPM and reactive maintenance services for our M and E and fabric assets. You will take on the management of the eight outsourced staff who are dedicated to the BFI to ensure they are supported and have the tools to deliver the service the BFI requires.
