Abstract
The Company Factor Development Cyf owns several renewable energy systems in West Wales and the valleys the majority of systems are located in the Merthyr area with some projects running in Swansea, Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire. The company is planning to outsource the maintenance of these systems for the next five years this will include managing all warranty issues with original installers as well as replacement and installation of non warranty parts or installation of warrant parts outside the labour warranty period of the original installation contracts (typically 2 years). This is planned as a complete maintenance contract covering all costs that will occur to maintain these systems in good working order throughout the next 5 year period.

Total quantity or scope of tender
The contract will cover 34 systems ranging from 3KWp (Solar) to 80Kwp solar. 30 of these renewable systems will also have battery storage (Total capacity 388Kwhr) there are also 5 EV charging points included in this contract.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:
The maintenance contract forms an important part of maintaining the systems to help maximise the community benefit of these systems , the contractor should be aware of this to ensure repairs are made in a timely manner.
Relates to the following project/programme financed by EU Community Funds: The systems are part of a community energy project titled AMMV Energy Worx.
