Abstract

The Children and Young Peoples Integrated Therapies service will deliver Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT), Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physiotherapy (PT) support to children and young people, aged 0-19, in Buckinghamshire (excluding Milton Keynes) with Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND). This will be provided to children and young people with or without an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

The contract is for 3 years with a 2-year extension option. The contract will start 10th February 2024. A budget cap has been set for the initial 3 year contract term of £17,529,348. Any bids that exceed the cap will be disqualified from the procurement process.

TUPE may apply to this contract.

The Council will incorporate a standstill period at the point when information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. The standstill period will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days and provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for the aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
