This scheme contributes towards Thirteen Group's strategic plan incorporating Wave 2 funding requirements of Northeast, MMC, Zero Carbon Ready and Brownfield Regeneration and would be part of our strategic partnership with Sunderland. All units are intended for Affordable Rent tenure and the mix has been determined with the input of our internal neighbourhood team and their knowledge of demand within the local area. Thirteen wishes to procure under open tender a Design and Build contractor. It is envisaged that the successful tenderer will be awarded the Contract for the scheme off Amberley and Harrogate Street, Sunderland which incorporates the design and construction of 103 Nr. dwellings Background to the Requirement.The 26 nr bungalows are timber frame construction and the 77 nr houses MMC modules.Planning Submission was made in May 2022 and approval is expected end of November 2022.
