The pilot programme, Talk Matters, will support schools to identify Speech, Language and Communication Needs in children early and close gaps in their learning, so that children can fully engage in all aspects - academic and social - of their education.
This is a high-priority pilot, and we wish to contribute to the evidence base around oracy in UK schools whilst also delivering the best service possible for young Londoners and their families.
The VRU therefore wishes to commission a Talk Matters Programme Evaluation and Learning Partner who will work closely with schools, local authorities and the VRU to create an effective learning partnership, develop and embed an effective monitoring strategy and explore impact at a systems level.
