Abstract

Leeds Trinity University (LTU) is in the process of introducing Nursing and Allied Health Professions and Social Work degrees into its course curriculum. A key requirement of these degrees is for students to be allocated placements (practice placements) across multiple NHS Trusts and Private, Independent and Voluntary Organisations (PIVOs). The University is seeking to implement a placement management system to support the management of practice placements.

This procurement seeks to appoint a partner to deliver an already established, practice placement management system that enhances the work of the Practice Placements Team at LTU and supports the accurate and secure recording and reporting of data in line with the requirements of NHS England.

The procurement seeks to:

- Deliver an intelligent placement management system that offers the most efficient and effective management of practice placements for LTU Nursing, Allied Health and Social Work students.  

- Deliver a placement management system that integrates with key systems, including Active Directory, SITS and PARE.

- Deliver a placement management system that has the flexibility to scale up and down to accommodate changes in student numbers.

- Deliver a GDPR compliant solution that also meets the Web Content accessibility Guidelines 2.2 A and AA requirements and is therefore compliant with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
