We require an insource solution that provides both New and Follow Up outpatient capacity during both office and out of hours (evenings/weekends). This solution should also provide the option to provide echocardiography and cardiac monitoring/analysing services to absorb the diagnostic referrals coming from servicing the outpatient backlog. <br/>There are no guaranteed levels of activity as this solution is to be used in an ad-hoc fashion to ensure the backlog remains within permitted parameters.<br/>The purpose of this procurement exercise is to appoint a supplier that can deliver Cardiology Outpatient Clinics, Echocardiograms and Cardiac Monitoring/Analysis.<br/>Interested providers must be able to provide:<br/>a) An insourcing model to deliver Cardiology Outpatient Clinics, Echocardiograms and Cardiac Monitoring/Analysis in our equipped outpatient facilities at Scarborough Hospital (SGH) and Bridlington Hospital (BDH);<br/>b) Activity levels of up to 100 new patient appointments at SGH, 60 at BDH; up to 100 follow-up appointments at SGH, 60 at BDH over a 3 month period;<br/>c) Echocardiograms and Cardiac Monitors & Analysis up to estimated 35 at SGH and 25 at BDH over a 3 month period.<br/>Further details regarding staff required and relevant experience and qualifications and the service KPIs can be found in the service specification.<br/><br/>Contract start date will be in July. The initial term will be for 3 months at an estimated value f £46,000 with an option to extend for a further period of 3 months.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intended approach notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 - Most Suitable Provider process. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.<br/><br/>This contract is being awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 Most Suitable Provider process.<br/><br/>This notice is to invite expressions of interest from suitable providers. The deadline for submitting an expression of interest is 18:00hrs 10th June 2025. Expressions of interest should be submitted to Neil Dodds - neil.dodds1@nhs.net<br/><br/>Target start date for the contract is 14/07/2025. The initial contract period will be for 3 months, with an option to extend for a further period of 3 months.<br/><br/>Total estimated contract value is £46,000 for the initial term and up to £92,000 including the extension option.<br/><br/>There are no guaranteed levels of activity as this solution is to be used in an ad-hoc fashion to ensure the backlog remains within permitted parameters.<br/><br/>The contract award decision will be made by the senior managers of the Cardiovascular Care Group, procurement, contracting and commissioning teams and appropriate Trust executive team members.
