Abstract

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to notify the market of a potential procurement process to support the continuing delivery of the NHS Type 2 Diabetes Path to Remission Programme from April 2026. <br/><br/>The NHS Type 2 Diabetes Path to Remission Programme is a joint initiative between NHS England and Diabetes UK. The service supports individuals who are overweight / obese and recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes to achieve significant weight loss and potentially remission from their diabetes, using a total diet replacement approach alongside a structured programme of behavioural support. It can be accessed by eligible people in England through referral from General Practice. <br/><br/>Since 2023 a national framework of providers has been in place, from which contracts have been called off to deliver services in the 42 Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) in England.<br/><br/> Register your interest through the Atamis e-sourcing portal https://atamis-1928.my.site.com/s/Welcome
