Abingdon Learning Trust is currently out to tender for the provision of a grounds maintenance service which are currently outsourced.The Contractor will be responsible for the provision of a grounds maintenance service for the Trust. This will consist of services for each school across all three sites.There is a combined total of 117,807m2 (entire school site square meterage) and 31,305m2 Building Footprint across all three sites with a total of 2,226 pupils on roll.TUPE/LGPS does not apply to this tender.The Contractor will be responsible for the provision of skilled ground maintenance operatives providing an efficient and timely maintenance service.

Abingdon Learning Trust incorporated a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract was communicated to tenderers. That notification provided full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which was for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provided time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract was entered into. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
