Abstract

NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (NENC ICB) (the Contracting Authority) are undertaking soft market testing in order to gain a better understanding of the capacity and appetite of the market to deliver a Primary Care Regulation & Training Subscription Service. Suppliers who wish to take part in this information gathering exercise are asked to express their interest in this opportunity.The service will facilitate and support the subscription to primary care aligned to the delivery of national priorities and manifesto commitments. The support subscription should provide opportunities for primary care team members to access development through a series of structured training events, networking opportunities personal development sessions, webinars, and workshops, as well as specialist advice via a helpdesk for immediate support.The support subscription should include the following components:• Helpdesk/surgery sessions/virtual networks and webinars which cover primary care contracting/commissioning, finance and premises for all primary care contracting groups, general practice, community pharmacy, dental and optometry• Events and networks• Local workshops• E-learningThis service will be accessible for all primary care contractor groups (GP, pharmacy, ophthalmic and dentistry) within the North East and Yorkshire, including Cumbria.The Contracting Authority are seeking to understand how many capable suppliers in the market can provide this service, this information will inform the next steps in the procurement process. If appropriate, any future competition process will invite potential suppliers to submit a request for quotation advertised via the Central Digital Platform.Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 5pm on 17 June 2025.NENC ICB is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this EOI exercise and communicate with potential providers.
