Cumberland Council are committed to transforming local services for people with a learning disability and/or who are autistic, to ensure that individuals are supported to lead full and rewarding lives in the community.
Short breaks can have a significant positive impact on someone’s independence and choice by providing support to enable them to continue living in their own homes and to give carers a break from their caring responsibilities.
