In order to fulfill the requirements set out by Welsh Government, BookTrust are able to respond with extreme and unavoidable urgency to the need to distribute books to children and vulnerable families in Wales, due to their ongoing collaboration with authors and distributors. Awarding the contract directly to BookTrust, who has the proven capability and capacity to deliver immediately, ensures continuity of service and mitigates the risk of important service not being delivered
