Abstract

Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) have awarded a contract for the supply of computers on wheels (COWs) to mount PCs, monitors, laptops and tablets to provide care at the bedside. These carts enable healthcare professionals to access and input patient information directly at the bedside, ensuring data is entered accurately and in real time. By facilitating point-of-care digital access, COWs support clinical workflows, reduce delays, and minimise transcription errors. They are essential for delivering bedside care within a modern, digitally enabled healthcare environment, and are a key enabler for the successful implementation of the Health Board’s digital transformation strategy. CPV: 30200000, 30200000.
