Minimum standards and qualification required
The training should build confidence, strengthen communication skills,
and help managers and team leaders handle resistance professionally
while developing stronger working relationships.
Upon completion of the training, individuals should be able to:
- Understand the principles of persuasion and influence, including
how behavior, tone, and message structure affect outcomes.
- Present ideas more effectively, using techniques that explain
benefits, build a strong case and engage listeners.
- Positively influence others in discussions, meetings or situations
where support needs to be secured or a change of perspective
- Adapt communication style to different individuals and situations
in order to increase impact and understanding.
- Deal with opposition or concerns in a respectful and constructive
way, maintaining good working relationships.
- Use appropriate persuasion techniques, ensuring that influence
takes place in a fair, transparent and professional manner
