Abstract
Due to complications of cholecystectomy procedures, the ultrasound probes are also being used to diagnose if there are any underlying issues through those procedures. Consequently, the need for the ultrasound probes has increased, however, the department don’t own adequate numbers of probes to meet the needs. Lack of ultrasound probes will result in cancelling the patients or delaying the procedure. Without the use of the ultrasound probes may lead to poor diagnosis /prognosis that will result in patient’s dissatisfaction and complaints. A bid was submitted and approved to purchase 8 interoperative probes from end of year slippage.
