Abstract

The GE Optima 660 CT scanner in the Main X-ray department in the University Hospital of Wales is currently being replaced and the room refurbished as part of the Welsh Government funded capital replacement program. As part of this project capital funding was requested to replace the 10+ year old contrast power injector and this request was successful.The Radiology department submitted a bid to replace a second injector via end of year Welsh Government Slippage. Funding was agreed and received into the CRL against cost code CAP9 and the purchase order will cover both capital requirements coded to the appropriate funding that has been allocated
