Requirement

Gower View Foods Ltd seeks quotations for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and operator training of a stainless-steel tote bin lifting and tipping system for use within a spreadable butter production facility.

Suppliers may offer a Kittner Tote Bin Loader or an equivalent machine that meets or exceeds the minimum specification detailed below.

Scope of Supply

The successful supplier shall provide a complete tote bin lifting and loading system suitable for safely elevating and discharging product from standard food industry tote bins into downstream processing equipment.

Product Application

The equipment shall be suitable for:

• Butter and spreadable butter products.

• Dairy and food manufacturing applications.

• Lifting and discharging product into processing equipment such as mixers, blenders, pumps, hoppers, silos, or fillers.

• Operation within hygienic food production environments.

Minimum Technical Specification

Lift Capacity

• Suitable for handling standard food industry tote bins.

• Safe Working Load (SWL) appropriate for fully loaded tote bins.

• Suppliers shall state the maximum lifting capacity offered.

Lift Height

• Minimum discharge/lift height: 1.7 metres.

• Lift height sufficient to enable product discharge into elevated process equipment.

• Suppliers may offer greater lift heights where beneficial to the installation.

Lifting and Discharge System

• Powered lifting mechanism.

• Controlled lifting and lowering functions.

• Controlled tipping or discharge operation.

• Smooth product transfer with minimal product loss.

• Stable operation throughout the lifting cycle.

Equivalent Equipment

Quotations are invited for a Kittner Tote Bin Loader or equivalent equipment. Equivalent systems will be considered where suppliers can demonstrate comparable lifting performance, hygiene standards, safety features, reliability, and suitability for dairy and spreadable butter production operations.
