Description of the goods or services required
Newcastle Higher Community Council (NHCC) invites suitably qualified contractors to tender for the provision of a weekly dog waste collection and disposal service across the communities of Pen-y-Fai and Aberkenfig. This contract is designed to support the Council’s commitment to environmental cleanliness, public hygiene, and community wellbeing.
Any agreement will be in the form of a contract and will operate for a period of 3 years commencing November 1st 2026.
You are invited to tender for provision of these services.
Successful contractors will be required to:
• Provide weekly emptying and lawful disposal of waste from 15 dog waste bins and 2 general waste bins.
• Provide a schedule of the collection plan, and an estimated day for collections.
• Ensure bins are left clean, lids secured, and any issues reported.
• Be flexible in their approach to additional emptying when required
• Hold appropriate licenses and insurances.
• Keep accurate records and provide waste transfer documentation upon request.
