Abstract

Supply of Clean-in-Place (CIP) System for Spreadable Butter Production Facility Requirement Gower View Foods Ltd seeks quotations for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and operator training of a skid-mounted Clean-in-Place (CIP) system for use within a spreadable butter production facility. The system shall be suitable for the hygienic cleaning and sanitisation of processing equipment, pipelines, pumps, tanks, filling equipment, and associated process systems used in dairy and spreadable butter manufacture. Scope of Supply The successful supplier shall provide a complete skid-mounted CIP unit including tanks, pumps, controls, instrumentation, pipework, valves, dosing equipment, documentation, and commissioning services. 1. CIP Unit Configuration The CIP system shall typically comprise: • A skid-mounted stainless-steel CIP unit. • Two square stainless-steel tanks complete with covers. • Tank capacity: minimum 350 litres each. • Compact integrated design suitable for installation within a food production environment. 2. Tank Arrangement Tank 1 – Clean Water Tank • Capacity: minimum 350 litres. • Suitable for warm or cold water storage. • Provision for the addition of disinfectant/sanitising chemicals. • Automatic water level control. • Automatic temperature control. Tank 2 – Detergent Tank • Capacity: minimum 350 litres. • Suitable for alkaline detergent, acid detergent, or combined cleaning chemicals. • Automatic temperature control. • Water level monitoring and control. 3. Heating System The CIP system shall incorporate: • Direct steam injection heating for both tanks. • Independent temperature control for each tank. • Automatic control of cleaning solution temperatures. • Temperature monitoring and display via the operator interface. 4. Tank Cleaning Features Each tank shall include: • Integrated spray device or spray ball for internal tank cleaning. • High-level and low-level sensors. • Temperature sensors. • Overflow and breather connections. • Automated monitoring and protection functions. 5. Pumping System CIP Supply Pump • Stainless-steel centrifugal pump. • Capacity adjustable between: o 5,000 litres/hour at approximately 2.5 bar. o 20,000 litres/hour at approximately 1.9 bar. • Manual flow control valve. • Fristam pump or approved equivalent. • Motor rating approximately 2.2 kW. Return Pump • Self-priming return pump. • Motor rating approximately 3.0 kW. • Suitable for recovery and recirculation of CIP solutions. 6. Instrumentation and Monitoring The CIP system shall include: • Conductivity measurement for monitoring cleaning solution concentration. • Temperature monitoring within the return circuit. • High and low-level monitoring. • Alarm and protection functions. • System status indication through the control interface. 7. Requirement

Gower View Foods Ltd seeks quotations for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and operator training of a skid-mounted Clean-in-Place (CIP) system for use within a spreadable butter production facility.

The system shall be suitable for the hygienic cleaning and sanitisation of processing equipment, pipelines, pumps, tanks, filling equipment, and associated process systems used in dairy and spreadable butter manufacture.

Scope of Supply

The successful supplier shall provide a complete skid-mounted CIP unit including tanks, pumps, controls, instrumentation, pipework, valves, dosing equipment, documentation, and commissioning services.

1. CIP Unit Configuration

The CIP system shall typically comprise:

• A skid-mounted stainless-steel CIP unit.

• Two square stainless-steel tanks complete with covers.

• Tank capacity: minimum 350 litres each.
