Abstract

North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (Relevant Authority) intend to follow the Most Suitable Provider (MSP) process to award contracts for temporary, short term Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) services in response to winter pressures for NENC ICB Central Regions including:

Lot 1: Durham Dales

Lot 2: Chester Le Street

Lot 3: Central Durham

Lot 4: Derwentside

Lot 5: South Durham

Lot 6: Sunderland

Lot 7: South Tyneside

These are separate lots/contracts and each are expected to provide temporary additional capacity for ARI services during the period of winter pressures .

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intended approach notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.

The intention is to award a contract using the Most Suitable Provider process.

The award decision will be made by the NHS North East & North Cumbria Integrated Care Board.

Conflicts of Interest have been managed and will be managed through this intended MSP Process.
