Abstract

The scope of the project can be split into key areas :

Design of the system.

It is expected that the supplier shall have the requisite skills to produce detailed low level technical designs for the system, including logical schematics detail.

Supply of hardware.

Screens.

Supply Approx. 42 no. 32” screens Supply of 64 no. minimum size 42” -65" size screens.

Players.

The supplier shall provide the relevant number of PCs or equivalent players,

Server Hardware and Software Components

Additional Hardware that forms the solution

Installation.

The expectation is that the supplier will provide a ‘turnkey' solution on site, working alongside other trades provided by the main and sub-contractors for the refurbishment project within a CDM environment.

Commissioning and system set up.

The system shall be commissioned and witnessed to the design agreed and signed off by the client. Group IT will install server hardware, sql and operating system software where required. It is anticipated that the prospective tenderer will install and configure the software as per the low level design. However, the NEC may consider a cloud based solution.

Training.

The anticipated requirements are for two sets of training, one for content scheduling and reporting for operational purposes and secondly for installation troubleshooting and support from a post go live perspective.
