These core services required from the successful Service Provider under this contract are to record, broadcast and archive all video and audio output from the meetings sitting in the Assembly Chamber and Committee Rooms and on occasion to provide audio recordings of meetings held outside Parliament Buildings. These recorded feeds (both live and archived) are distributed to broadcasters, the web, the internal TV system and other destinations by permanent links and as otherwise requested.

Additional Information

In line with PCR 2015, Regulation 46, the NIAC has considered dividing this contract into lots. The decision has been taken not to do so based on the operational importance of the Core Service and the potential risk of failure to complete the service provision. It is also considered that by splitting this contract into lots, the cost to the public purse may increase and therefore not represent value for money.
