Abstract

King's College London invites quotations for the supply of an Upright Multi-photon Microscope for the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, which is being funded by the Centre for Developmental Neurobiology.

The equipment will be sited in the Centre for Developmental Neurobiology, King's College London, New Hunt's House, 4th Floor, Guy's Campus, London, SE1 1UL.

All quotations will be based on the specified requirements within this Invitation to Tender. Please note that all communication regarding these requirements must be via the College's eTendering system, for the duration of this request for quotation and its subsequent evaluation.

It is required as part of the response that all special environmental or service considerations that are necessary for the safe and accurate operation of this apparatus are highlighted in the response to this specification.

King's College London is 1 of the top research Universities in the UK and as part of King's Health Partners, is closely integrated with clinical practice at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital, King's College Hospital and the South London and Maudsley Trusts. This diverse community incorporates large numbers of researchers investigating disease, tissue specification and regeneration. The Guy's Campus houses the Centre for Developmental Neurobiology. The Centre has an internationally acclaimed reputation for research and teaching.

The agreement is by the terms and conditions set out in accordance with the requirements of the High Value Laboratory Equipment (HVLE) Framework Agreement let by the North West Universities Purchasing Consortium in 2012: these are appended to this specification.
