Abstract

Provision of the 2 boats described below on a 24 month, end-user crewed contract. The vessels will be stored afloat on the end-users pontoons in the Milford Haven Waterways and will be used daily for transfer of personnel, tools and equipment - estimate a daily usage of 4Hrs (minimum) for each craft. "RIB – Transfer boat, Min 6 People as passengers + 2 crew, to be fully MCA coded for operations up to 20 miles from safe haven. Easily maintainable engine by wave-tricity personnel, with a minimum of one spare engine attached. Maximum speed to be in excess of 20 knots, 2m x 1.5m flat storage/transfer space, Trailer mountable, Comes with a trailer, Highly manoeuvrable, Full Solas Fit. Full Navionics fit to include VHF with DSC, Radar and Sonar. RIB's with fitted Head will be looked upon favourably for long day working. " "Work Boat- At least 34ft Long for sea keeping, Min of 10 people including crew. The vessel MUST be MCA coded CAT 2 for operation up to 60 miles from Safe Haven. Twin engine, Enclosed Bridge/cabin with seating for at least 4 crew, Crew welfare to include Head, Galley and accommodation. External flat deck space of at least 2.5m x 2m, Full Navionics fit to include VHF with DSC, Radar, Sonar. Robust fendering as vessel will moor against concrete floating structure. Upper deck to be provided with all round Safety Harness Rails, Man overboard recovery equipment, Full Solas Fit
