II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Longhurst Group is procuring on behalf of L&H Homes for Communal Area and Window Cleaning services. Longhurst Group is a leading provider of housing, care and support services operating in more than 45 Local Authority areas across the Midlands and East of England; managing over 18 700 homes.
L&H Homes Limited (L&H) is part of the Longhurst Group and now manages over 8 600 homes in Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
This tender process is being initiated to procure one new single contract, working across Longhurst Group's geographical area for circa 100 blocks of properties with communal areas such as communal stairs, stair lifts, lifts and corridors, communal rooms such as lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, laundry rooms, guest rooms etc.
This includes offices if within these buildings or separately specified locations, storage areas, external bin stores, sweeping and litter picking of car parks and surrounding areas, internal and external window cleaning.
