II.1.4) Short description

Trafford Housing Trust (THT) wishes to procure Contracts for the provision of a range of gas servicing and maintenance services to both commercial and domestic properties owned or managed by THT.

THT will be requesting three prices from suppliers: (a) for 100 % business (both domestic and commercial), (b) for 50 % business (domestic only), and (c) for 50 % business (commercial only). Upon receipt we will analyse the most cost effective option.

It is envisaged that the Contracts with the successful contractor(s) will each last for an initial period of 3 years, with up to 2 2 yearly extensions at THTs sole discretion.

Applicants should note that the successful contractor(s) may be required to take a TUPE transfer of staff on commencing the provision of the services under their Contract. Further details about the possible application of TUPE will be made available at the tender stage, if necessary.
