The catering service is currently managed by the LEA.

Any Supplier wishing to be considered for this contract must be able to demonstrate experience and depth of knowledge in the management and handling of TUPE issues, as well as a being able to manage local authority pensions.

The contract will commence on 1.4.2018 for a period of three years, with an option to extend on a 1 + 1 basis. The value of the contract is 1 220 000 GBP.

This contract as a minimum will be nil cost in nature, but a financial return would be expected and is currently being provided. It is expected that the successful Supplier would also concentrate on developing the team and market to move forward. Investment is not actively sought, but may be required to enhance and further the service, should the bid require it.
