The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Road Safety Partnership (CPRSP) is a partnership between Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC), Peterborough City Council (PCC), Cambridgeshire Constabulary, BCH Joint Protective Services, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Public Health, The East of England Trauma Network, Cambridge University Hospitals, Highways England, The Road Victims Trust, and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. In relation to camera enforcement, each Highway Authority (CCC, PCC and Highways England) is responsible for the infrastructure on the highway, and BCH Joint Protective Services is responsible for the enforcement activity that is undertaken. This contract relates specifically to speed enforcement cameras on CCC and PCC's road network and CCC is leading this procurement on behalf of the Partnership with support from LGSS.

Potential providers shall be asked to provide evidence that all the deployments proposed in their submission holds Home Office Type Approval. LGSS Procurement will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. The duration of this standstill will be disclosed at this point. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the Contracting Authority before the contract is entered into. Such additional information should be required from (Refer to address in part 1.1). If an appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2006 No. 5) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought promptly.
