Abstract

LSBU sought a partner to provide a provision of co-sourcing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for it's IT department. The contract will cover the following, details are:

— An End to End support model

— Employ the support staff directly

— Provide staff on LSBU site who will be under management direction from LSBU

— The solution should be cost effective and demonstrate value for money

— Allocate resource quarterly in advanced based on the requirements provided by LSBU

— Be able to manage ad hoc requirement outside of the quarterly resource allocation

— Manage all aspects of matching, delivering and maintaining the correct level of resource requirement

— The partner must ensure the support staff have the correct skill level and this should be demonstrable to LSBU

— The partner will be able to guarantee to meeting LSBU capacity levels

— Provide recommendations on skillset and work as a business advisory to LSBU IT Services

— Flexible and Scalable resources at all times

— Always providing candidates of relevant skillset

— Pre-vetting and interviewing candidates

London South Bank University (LSBU) is sought a partner to provide a co-sourcing provision for 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to supplement it's own internal IT team. The model of delivery had to be compliant to the Intermediaries Legislation. The contractor needed to be able to provide staff onsite at the University's Southwark Campus, remote working was not in scope of the requirement.
