Abstract

Lot 1 Protection Panel Design and Supply and Delivery on a multiple supplier Framework. It is the intention of Northern Powergrid to award Zero Volumes Frameworks to up to three successful contractors. The intention is to have the two most economically advantageous suppliers engaged in works. The division of works will be via a percentage split of all available works. The most economically advantageous supplier will be awarded a greater percentage of works, although the details of this split are to be confirmed after tender evaluations are complete. It is the intention to award a Zero Volume contingency Framework to the third most economically advantageous supplier.

Design, procurement of components, manufacture, painting, assembly, finishing, labelling, testing, delivery to site and off-loading into substation building to agreed location (through a minimum access aperture of 2 510 mm high and 1 514 mm wide) of the specified equipment.

Assessment, assimilation and extrapolation of submitted engineering information for each call-off order. Production of detailed drawing sets for the called-off equipment.

Ordering of any materials as required to meet project timescales, if necessary prior to submission of drawings and subsequent receipt of drawing comments (it will be the responsibility of the contractor to correct any subsequent deficiencies in materials that arise following any drawing comments).
