Contract award for provision of commercial off the shelf student engagement “Mobile” App following a failed tender process. The new App solution will allow students to engage better with University services and information, as well as potentially providing better opportunities for communication and collaboration. It will enable personalisation of content, enhanced working, ease of access to University-wide platforms and services and provide a central point for communications activities for students.

Explanation
During the previous Open tender process the University was unable to agree terms with preferred supplier and therefore the original tender process was abandoned. Abandoned OJEU Contract Notice reference number was 2018/S 085-191646, the abandoned award cancellation notice number is 2018/S 235-537834. The terms and conditions used for this contract remain those originally issued with the first tender without amendment.
