Abstract

PHE Science Hub is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider to provide HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) Facilitation Services for phase 2 ensuring that PHE Science Hub facilities are fully operational, compliant, licensable and safe for PHE staff to carry out their duties.

Full details of the scope of works are available in the tender documents which are accessible via the PHE Bravo eTendering Portal. In accordance with regulation 53(4) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, a confidentiality Disclosure Agreement (CDA) must be completed before full access can be given to the tender documents in order to protect the confidential nature of the requirement. Interested suppliers will be prompted to accept the CDA on the Portal.

PHE Science Hub and headquarters in Harlow will be a world-class centre of excellence for public health and life sciences. It will be achieved by developing a campus at the vacant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) site in Harlow.

We are in the process of creating a vibrant and stimulating collaborative hub where everyone working in public health science can share knowledge, ideas, expertise and resources. The site will include state-of-the-art laboratories and research facilities that will assist PHE in its role of protecting and improving the nation's health. It will be a centre for the expert science that underpins how we protect and improve the public's health and reduce health inequalities. It is at the heart of the long term future developments of PHE.
