Explanation
These reagents are required for sample preparation and sequencing, using Illumina-based sequencers. There is clinical risk associated with varying equipment from multiple suppliers and platforms. Awarding the contract for the reagent to illumina will mitigate this risk as the reagent will be used on NextSeq 500 sequencing system. Only Global Screening Arrays manufactured by Illumina can be used on the Illumina NextSeq 500 System.
