Abstract

The Borough Council of Calderdale (the ‘Council’) invites tenders from tenderers who wish to be considered for the provision of:

Lot 1: Personal Care in Extra Care – Willow Court;

Lot 2: Personal Care in Extra Care – Railway Bridge View.

Extra care is a combination of housing and personal support for older people that fall between the established patterns of sheltered housing and residential care. The vision for extra care is to make sure that all adults are able to have an independent life, within their own home with assistance from the personal care and housing support staff within the scheme helping them to achieve this.

The personal support service in Extra Care will provide a person centred service for adults with assessed eligible social care needs. It will focus on what people can do for themselves, either independently or through natural networks of support. There will be an emphasis on reablement and rebuilding an individual’s confidence thereby maximising their independence.

All providers must be CQC registered.

All Documents are available to download from www.yortender.co.uk

Each approved provider must satisfy the quality criteria outlined in the paragraph 26 of the Invitation to Tenderers document
